Britney Spears gets cozy with manager Cade Hudson as she talks staying positive while 'going through
Britney Spears cuddled up to her manager and best pal Cade Hudson in a new Instagram album she posted Friday night.
Cade, who is gay, could be seen in one of the pictures leaning in towards Britney, 41, as if on the verge of kissing her cheek.
In a lengthy, freewheeling caption, Britney glancingly referred to her ongoing divorce from her third husband Sam Asghari.
She also touched on the travails of writing her upcoming memoir The Woman In Me, whose title is thought to be a reference to her song I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman.
However she maintained a determinedly cheery attitude throughout her post, blaring: 'I'm in such a beautiful location !!! l'm so lucky to have amazing friends !!! Positive affirmations are important to me at the moment !!!'

Britney added: 'I say this because I’m going through a divorce and having to reflect my past in a book was … let's just say not easy !!! I'm just saying !!! But I take one day at a time learning to breathe !!! Self love is so unbelievably important !!! I woke up and just cried because I felt grateful to be in such a beautiful place !!!'
She reflected: 'Then I thought about my relation between my life and Instagram at the moment !!! Let’s get this straight !!! It’s addicting ... but in my personal opinion the moment you start to take yourself too seriously is when people quit !!!'
The Work B**** hitmaker said: 'Hey I'm not promoting FaceTune for the rest of my life but seriously when I have days of depression I look and see the new apps and it makes me feel silly !!! I'm like wow this is cool !!! I see things in a brighter way and so what if it's enhanced !!!'
She added pointedly: 'I’m just trying to understand people that say they don't participate in it !!! Yet they’re on complete defense for some reason making accusations and downplaying it by saying all pictures are fake and are all retouched !!! Nothing is real … honestly who f***ing cares !!!'
Britney wrote: 'If you’re so entitled and perfect why should you even care if someone is experimenting with apps on their phone ??? Why even mention it ??? If you’re so much better than that ??? But are you ??? Come on !!! I love my best friend !!!'
Her latest Instagram update comes one day after she uploaded yet another social media video of herself dancing with kitchen knives.
In the caption of her Instagram post, the 41-year-old pop singer once again insisted that the sharp blades are fake and said her team rented them from the Hand Prop Room in Los Angeles.
Earlier this week, she sparked concern after she shared a concerning video of herself doing a dizzying dance with knives.
'I know I spooked everyone with the last post,' she wrote, referring to the concern expressed by her many fans. 'But these are fake knives that my team rented from the Hand Prop shop in LA. These are not real knives.'
Regarding how the authorities visited her home earlier in the day for a welfare check, she asserted that 'no one needs to worry or call the police'.

She was copying Shakira's knife dance at the MTV Video Music Awards in September — which she said was 'a performance I was inspired by'.
The Toxic hitmaker then added: 'Cheers to us bad girls who aren't afraid to push boundaries and take risks'.
In the video, she could be seen modeling a white crop top with long, voluminous sleeves and putting on a cheeky display in a pair of hot pink bikini bottoms.
She had her honey blonde beach waves pinned in a messy half-up and half-down hairstyle.
She donned a black choker and was barefoot as she danced in the foyer of her mansion.
She did not appear to have a cut on her leg or bandage on her arm as previously seen in a since-deleted video following her initial knives dance.
In the clip, she ran the knives along her body and twirled while tapping them together to the beat of the music.

Earlier on Thursday, she reportedly received a welfare check from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies allegedly visited her $7.4 million mansion — which she previously shared with her estranged husband, Sam Asghari — 'to make sure she was safe.'
A source told TMZ that law enforcement performed the safety and wellness check 'out of an abundance of caution.'
The insider added that the mother-of-two spoke with deputies, who determined she 'was okay.'
Their visit was prompted by 'several' calls to cops over an alarming Instagram video that she shared, in which she danced around her kitchen while holding knives.
Soon after her knife dancing series, Spears took to her Instagram to shared another choreographed clip.
She mentioned the knives in her caption and claimed she was 'copying Shakira.'
Earlier this week, Spears told her fans on her Instagram that the knives were not real in the caption, despite fans insisting they heard the 'clanging' of the knives during her dance.

'I started playing in the kitchen with knives today. Don't worry they are NOT real knives!!! Halloween is soon,' she said.
Her last video, posted Tuesday night, was her doing her choreographed sequence with no knife.
Britney had the caption: 'Lighten up about the knives I'm copying Shakira.'
Back in January, police conducted a welfare check on the singer after she sparked concern by deleting Instagram for for the seventh time in less than a year.
Deputies were then sent out to the Toxic singer's Thousand Oaks home and determined 'there was no reason to believe she was in danger.'
Spears reportedly has 'had a fascination with knives,' TMZ reported in May, adding that the singer slept 'with one under her bed' amid terror of being 're-institutionalized.'

A year and a half after the end of her 13-year conservatorship, in which Spears previously described as 'abusive' in explosive courtroom testimony, a source alleged that the pop star remains in 'mortal fear' that 'someone will come in the middle of the night, strap her to a gurney and take her to a psych ward.'
After regaining control of her own personal and financial affairs in 2021, the site claims those caring for the mother-of-two 'prepared a list of recommendations' for Spears, which included keeping her away from weapons and 'not driving alone.'
The singer, who revealed in 2021 that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, is said to have a 'constant fear of being re-institutionalized.'
In 2022, Britney's younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, claimed in her tell-all book that her sibling once locked them in a room together while holding a knife.
In a passage from her memoir, Things I Should Have Said, the Zoey 101 alum, 32, recalled Britney telling her she was 'scared' before taking 'large knife from the kitchen' and pulling her into her room and locking them 'both inside.'
'She put the knife in the bedside table drawer and simply repeated 'I'm scared’' Jamie Lynn recalled. 'I knew something was wrong and I was powerless to do something about it.'

While discussing the claim on an episode of Alex Cooper's podcast, Call Her Daddy, in 2022, the former child star clarified that she 'never felt like [Britney] was going to harm' her or 'anything.'
'It just felt weird. And I didn't understand it,' she said of the incident that reportedly occurred in 2004, shortly after Britney’s wedding to Jason Alexander, which was annulled within 55 hours.
At the time, Jamie Lynn would have been just 13, and Britney 22.
Britney vehemently denied the alleged incident between them on Twitter.
'I've never been around you ever with a knife or would I ever even think to do such!!!' Spears tweeted in 2022. 'The only knife I ever saw you with at home was cutting the biggest pieces of squash I ever saw in my life and it was way too big for me to cut.'
Spears then expressed feeling hurt by the claims and said she was 'actually very confused' why her sister was 'making that up because it's honestly not like' her to lie.
Following the release of her book, the Zoey 101 star defended her choice to tell the story as she pointed out her book is 'not about her' sister.
'I can't help that I was born a Spears too, and that some of my experiences involve my sister,' she wrote on Instagram. 'I've worked hard since before I was even a teenager, and I've built my career in spite of just being someone's little sister.'

The pop sensation has been anticipating the release of her memoir, The Woman In Me, which will be available on October 24.
Last week she appeared on Instagram to show a video of a printing press producing copies en masse.
She captioned it: 'Putting the finishing touches on my book … eeeek. #TheWomanInMe @simonandschuster @gallerybooks.'
Due to an 'ironclad prenup,' her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, will not profit from sales of the literary output. He is mentioned in the book, but 'not a lot,' a source recently told DailyMail.com.
