Meet OUAT's Real-Life Kristoff: Scott Michael Foster!
The OUAT showrunners agree with us, since Foster revealed to E! News that he only had to read for the part once.
"Sometimes you read five, six, seven times for a role and you meet new people every time and you just keep climbing that ladder and then it never goes anywhere," Foster told us. "And then sometimes you just read once and then you get it! And that's how this was. I went in and I read for them once, and they were like, 'You're the guy!' I prefer it that way because I don't have to stress out every time I go in to read, wondering if I could have done better or if I should have done anything different or something like that. I guess they just really liked the first read. I'm happy it turned out that way."
Yeah, so are we. Now that we've seen Foster as Kristoff, there's no one else we could imagine in the role. But turns out Foster never thought he'd have the chance to portray the Disney prince!
"I never ever thought that that would happen!" Foster said with a laugh. "But I'm glad it did because my nieces and nephews are big fans of that story and so they're excited for their Uncle Scott to be playing that character."
In fact, it wasn't until Foster put on the Kristoff costume for the first time that he really felt like the character.
