Michael Buble's son has been admitted to hospital with burns

Michael Bublé's wife Luisana Lopilato has spoken for the first time about the ordeal she went through when her two-year-old son Noah poured hot water over himself in June.

The toddler was hospitalised with serious burns after the accident which took place in the couple's home in Argentina.

Lusiana, who is pregnant with their second child, revealed that, two months on, Noah is still having treatment. "I have to dress his wounds and he suffers because it hurts and he complains," she said. "I often ask myself why this happened," she continued. "But it was inevitable. He climbed onto the kitchen work-top in a second and threw hot water over himself."

The little boy sustained six per cent burns and was rushed to hospital. Fortunately he didn't need surgery on his skin, the family said.

"At one point the doctors told me they'd have to do skin grafts but thank God it started healing little by little. For a long time he has to use elastic bands pressed tight so he's not left with scars," she continued.

Michael tweeted fans last months to thank them for their concern and confirmed: "I'm happy to report that he is home, happy and healthy."

Last month, the singer told a Canadian website: "It's tough to see him go through it. I try to remind Lu that we are lucky. That it could have been worse."

We bring you the sad news today that Michael Bublé's son has been admitted to hospital with burns.

Noah, who will be two in August, is believed to have been injured by scalding water at home yesterday and has subsequently been taken to Hospital Aleman in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by his mother, model Luisana Lopilato - Bublé's wife.

However, Luisana has since revealed he may soon be allowed to return home, posting on Twitter: "My son is really well. God willing we'll be able to go home soon."

It's believed that 39-year-old Michael was out of the country when the couple's only child was injured in the accident. On Sunday - Father's Day - he Instagrammed this photo, along with the caption: "Just in case you were wondering what was inside my fathers day gift. #toocutetoeat #bestmom"

Luisana, 28, recently insisted that the couple live a very normal family life and face the same struggles as most people.

She said: "We're a normal family with complications, beautiful things and ugly things too. We're not a rare or unusual family."

The Argentinian beauty also revealed she's heavy reliant on her chart-topping husband to organise their lives, as she's always on the move.

She said: "Luckily my husband has everything organised in advance, but as an actress, one day I'm in one place and the next in another."

Our thoughts go out to little Noah.
