Whatever the reason the Media Mogul appears to be considering a move to the Garden State, and in true Oprah style she's planning on doing it in style.
Oprah stopped off to view a sprawling estate in Alpine New Jersey yesterday, reported to be one of the most expensive homes in the United States.

The New York Post reports that Oprah's entourage of two blacked-out SUVs and a van pulled into the up-scale enclave yesterday before noon.
'Her people requested that everyone leave the house so it would be empty when she walked through,' a source tells the paper.
A security guard, the source said, was allowed to stay at his post at the front gate though.
The estate that Oprah viewed is the most expensive in the area, no mean feat seeing as Alpine, New Jersey was named the most expensive zip code in the country by Forbes Magazine last year.
More than enough room to swing a cat: With nineteen bathrooms and twelve bedrooms, single girl Oprah certainly won't have any problems if guests turn up unexpectedly

The stunning and sprawling property is replete with beautiful walnut and marble floors throughout and Venetian plaster walls.
In addition to the many bedrooms and bathrooms, there's also a carriage house, perfectly manicured English gardens, a library, a ballroom, a fully equipped movie theatre, tennis court, saline pool and wine cellar.
The property is set in 63-acres which will surely come in handy if Oprah and her best friend, Gayle King decide to indulge their new found love of camping again any time soon.
The property and grounds are known as the Old Frick Estate and was originally owned by the steel manufacturer and art collector Henry Clay Frick.
A-lister paradise: Exclusive Alpine is home to many celebrities already, including Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, Eddie Murphy and the Jonas Brothers
Alpine is home to various Wall Street moguls and renown physicians as well as sports stars and celebrities.
Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, former Yankee Gary Sheffield, Eddie Murphy and the Jonas Brothers all call the area home during parts of the year.
Oprah is currently winding down on her long running daytime show after 25 years on air.
Plenty of room for camping out: With the estate boasting 63-acres of land there will be plenty of room for Oprah and her best friend, Gayle King to indulge their new found love of camping out
She has announced that the last episode will be broadcast in September 2011.
Winfrey is planning a move to Los Angeles next as she launches her new 24-hour TV channel, OWN - the Oprah Winfrey Network.
But by the look of things Oprah isn't planning a permanent move to California herself. In addition to the Old Frick Estate Oprah also viewed property a few miles north in Sneddens Landing.
Watch out ladies: The Real Housewives of New Jersey will certainly have their work cut out competition wise if Oprah Winfrey muscles in on their territory
