Stephen Sanchez weaves a tale of tragic love on 'Angel Face'

  • "Evangeline"
  • "Only Girl"
  • "Until I Found You"
  • "Be More"

Today's guest is going to take us on a ride in a time machine back to the '50s and '60s, when the sounds of Roy Orbison, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley reigned supreme, and he's only 21 years old.

Stephen Sanchez became a sensation thanks to a song out of time going viral, called "Until I Found You," but Sanchez wasn't chasing a trend. The California native was playing a style of music he fell in love with as a child.

In this session, he tells us the tale behind his debut album, Angel Face. It tells the story of a fictitious saloon singer who falls for a mob boss' girlfriend. Sanchez also talks about how a questionable purchase massively changed the trajectory of his career.
